Area Types

Area Types are used to group together areas which contain certain Locations e.g. All zones (areas) within areas of accident and emergency (Area Type). This can be useful for filtering and reporting purposes.

They can also be used to group together PMS Core Values and sets of Locations for use in PayMech calculation.

Settings > Property and Estates > Area Types

The link will open the Area Types grid. It is a grid view which can be searched, sorted and customised as normal.

To add a new Area Types click New , to edit an existing Area Types click Edit . A pop up window will appear which will allow the creation or amendment of a Area Type.

Field Name	Description
Name	The name of the Area Type.
Description	The description of the Area Type.

Complete the fields and click Save and Close .
